Athar Oilfield Services is family business which formed in 2003 primarily as a drilling engineering 
and supervision consultancy company.
When one of the directors completed a MBA in 2004 his dissertation was in oilfield tendering process, the market research for this indicated there was a opportunity and the second branch of purchasing and procurement was added to the successful drilling one. The company operates worldwide and in the last few years primarily in Europe and the Middle East.
Tendering and Procurement:
Athar Oilfield Services can carry out your tendering sourcing, procuring, consolidating and freighting of oilfield equipment to all areas of the globe on behalf of a wide range of clients. We offer an outsourced procurement facility which eliminates the need for a dedicated, in-house purchasing and logistics division. This can be as simple or as complex as required, from the provision of competitive quotations for material required, to a full tendering service including the presentation of results and recommendations.
Drilling Engineering and Rig Supervision:
Athar Oilfield Services manage the planning, design, programming & execution of the wells to be drilled and completed by the rigs under our control according to defined specifications and standards of our client. We review and approve well proposals anf well programs (with a view to obtaining the optimum value and efficiency).
We manage rig contracts including the monitoring of expenditure and other performance measures against agreed criteria.
